Ball, Kurtz Endorse Schuette
Legislators, Prosecutors, Sheriffs & Grassroots Prefer Schuette On Duty as A.G.
State Representatives Dick Ball (R-Bennington Township) and Ken Kurtz (R-Coldwater) have endorsed Bill Schuette for Attorney General, the former Appeals Court Judge announced today.
“I chose Bill Schuette based on his legislative record, his judicial experience and his strong stand on the issues,” State Representative Ken Kurtz said.
According to State Representative Dick Ball, “Bill has the experience and the ability to do the job of Attorney General extremely well. He is the best candidate for the job.”
“I am honored to have the support of these two outstanding lawmakers,” Schuette said. Schuette is the only candidate for Attorney General with experience in all three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial.
The endorsements by Rep. Dick Ball and Rep. Ken Kurtz bring to twenty the number of state Senators and Representatives who have endorsed Schuette for A.G.
Schuette has also been endorsed by:
· Speaker Newt Gingrich.
· More than 1,413 Republican grassroots activists.
· More than 100 law enforcement leaders, including 47 sheriffs and 48 prosecutors, as well as the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.).
